Great vacation home for the family. 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, basement has official poker table and leads out to hot tub. Upper deck has gas grill & patio table. Fully stocked kitchen. Excellent place for a family vacation!
If your looking for a large, comfortable cabin then look no more. This cabin has beautiful hard wood floors throughout the entire home. Ravens Nest has 3 separate bedrooms with a day bed in the loft area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all stainless steel appliances and everything you will need in a kitchen. Full size washer and dryer so you never have to take dirty clothes home with you. If you are coming in the cooler months then you have the chance to enjoy staying warm next to the corner fireplace. On the main floor you have your master. Private bath with a double vanity and a comfortable king size bed. Upstairs you have 2 more bedrooms with queen beds in both.
You will love sitting in the hot tub on the patio all while relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet this cabin offers. Who loves roasting marshmallows?? Well there is a fire pit right outside of the cabin just for you to have smores, roast marshmallows or tell stories.
If you are coming to have a good times with family and friends then the basement is just for you. The official poker table is ready to be used and waiting for you.. Easy access, just 3 short miles from Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park.
Spend some time in downtown Helen taking in the local flavor or venture to some of the nearby state parks. Check out Brasstown Bald - the highest point in Georgia! Head up to Tallulah Gorge and take a stroll over the swing bridge
Fall Foliage time is the perfect time of year to get away to the mountains and enjoy those cool crisp morning, take day drives throughout the North Georgia Mountains, picnic for lunch and hit the waterfalls. Adults can enjoy several golf courses close by or taking in the Wineries, along the Georgia Wine Hwy.
If you've not been to Helen in a while, you'll be amazed at how much there is to do. Plan to stay a while and take it all in. Make those family memories that we all cherish.

Other things to note
This home has a security alarm. If you trigger the alarm, please make sure to contact me immediately by text to let me know to cancel dispatch of the local police.
We will dial the home phone immediately, so please answer so we can verify that's it's you at the home.
All rules are posted inside the cabin.
Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am
Noise ordinance in community. Please be mindful of your neighbors.
Cell service is not very good at this home. There is a land line for local and long distance, but no international calling allowed.
When you arrive, you will find a book on the table that will tell you everything you need to know about the home. Please familiarize yourself with this material as it will guide you through check out procedures as well.
Minimum Age Requirement: You must be 25 years or older to reserve this property. Identification will be required.
Accommodations: This home will sleep 7 in beds
WIFI: This home has free WIFI as an amenity. However, as a public utility, we cannot guarantee connectivity and no refunds will be issued for lack of service. We will make every effort to make sure that service is restored during your stay. We will also keep you completely informed of our progress.
Fireplace: This home has 1 gas log fireplace.
Grill: There is a gas grill on the back porch. Should you need to replace the propane tank, please send me a copy of your receipt and we will be happy to reimburse you.
No Pets Allowed: If you choose to bring your pet, you will be asked to leave the property or make other arrangements for your pet. If you must leave, there will be no refund issued.
Fire Pit: There is a rather large fire pit in the backyard. We do recommend that you purchase treated firewood to burn in the pit. Broken branches can be used for kindling, but you may consider buying ‘Fat Lighter’ wood as well to help ignite your fires. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased just about a mile down the street at Tanglewood Cabins off Hwy. 356. It is sold in bundles and is easy to transport. Read instructions posted in the instruction manual inside of the home for building a safe fire.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, this Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900s. Festivals and special events include a hot air balloon race, Winefest, Volksmarch, Oktoberfest and Christmas parades, Fourth of July fireworks, and Bavarian Nights of Summer. From mid-September through October, Helen hosts the longest Oktoberfest in the South. Alpenfest offers entertainment during the Holiday season from Thanksgiving through December.
