Alfama's Highlights are just a few steps away:

- Be sure to stop in the numerous craft stores and art galleries nearby;

- During the month of June, enjoy the popular festivities of San Antonio at the sound of traditional music and taste the famous Portuguese sardines, typical dish of the city.

There are several buses and trams, although you can easily walk to the main points of the city.

How to get here from the Airport ? Easy! Take the Metro (underground) to Santa Apólonia station. From there it's only a 10 min walk. Depending on how much luggage you are carrying you can also take the Taxi from there.

Pedro is the kind of guy you feel is a friend after ten minutes. He will tell you all you need/want to know about his Lisbon. Everything in his place is immaculate and he has a good selection of miscellaneous food stuffs to get you started. You can't ask for a better host!. The yellow tram goes right by. Take it up from down below. When you get off at the stop past "home" check the church and the monastery next door. Fantastic location.

Perfect location in the Alfama. A very comfortable and quiet apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, the wifi worked well, the bed was comfortable and the view from the rooftop terrace was wonderful. Communication was excellent so check in/out was easy. Highly recommended.

Pedro was incredible with communication, available on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) to answer my last minute questions and met me promptly when I arrived though my flight had been delayed. He went above and beyond any other host has so far for me! He has his "My Lisbon" map and a few extra idea guides for best places to see, eat, drink, and excursions. The home is exactly as described and I would absolutely stay here again. It is centrally located in Alfama right on the tram line (literally open the door and there is the Tram 28) but quiet so I didn't really notice. I felt very comfortable here as a solo female traveling, and his mother even met me the next day to collect my bag since I was leaving after the check out time. Thanks Pedro!!

My boyfriend and I had a good stay at the apartment. It is really nice located in the old town, close to restaurants and little shops. Pedro was friendly and very helpful. He offered us a lot of tips, which he even printed, that was really nice from our perfect host :)

Pedro was a wonderful host! His mother greeted us, and she was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. Pedro gave us great advice on what to do and see in Lisbon (especially regarding restaurants and fado). The apartment was clean and comfortable - exactly what we needed for our stay. The pictures represented it very well, and the shower had great hot water, apartment had a full kitchen. Very centrally located in Alfama, easy to walk to downtown areas, very easy to walk to restaurants, fado music, bars, convenience stores, etc. And having the great fast and reliable wifi in the apartment was convenient. We can't recommend Pedro's place highly enough and definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Lisbon!

Pedro was really kind and gentle. He always kept us updated before our arriving. And he prepared us a simple taste of the Porto wine. Althoug we didn't see Pedro himself, we really enjoyed the staying. Thanks again.

Lovely apartment in heart of Lisbon, yet very quiet, fully renovated in older building and most relaxing. Lovely views from the building's terasse. Hope to come back!

I'm Pedro and I have a beautiful flat in the middle of Alfama: Lisbon's oldest and most typical neighbourhood were the demonstrations of friendship and good neighborliness is daily. Alfama itself with is old buildings and alleys gives you an impression that you are in the medieval village inside the city of Lisbon.

I started sharing my apartment it turns out that I really enjoy doing it. Many people stay inhere only for a few days. The result was the oportunity to meet people from other places from all over the world, so meeting other cultures is something that I started to admire and enjoy sharing may culture and provide tips of where to go and what to see that my guests can't find easily in tourist guides so you could feel in Lisbon like a real "lisboeta" ;-) I am friendly and easy going. Travel is one of my favorite things, I had been in Budapest, Brasil, London, France and I had simply enjoyed :)

Come to visit Lisbon!
