The space

It is a 45 sqm apartment which includes a bedroom, a kitchen with sitting room provided with a sofa bed for two people (very comfortable) and a bathroom with shower.

The apartment is located in the Roman Area on the second floor, with lift, of a XVIII century Barocco Palace, nested amongst charming alleys and old little squares where you can enjoy your night out in one of the many restaurants and bars.

A few steps away are some of the most interesting places to visit: Piazza Castello, Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama, the Duomo, the Porte Palatine (ancient walls), Porta Palazzo (the biggest outdoor market in Europe) and one of the best shopping area in town.

The two main train stations, Porta Nuova and Porta Susa, can be easily reached by public transport and are only a few minutes away.

The necessary for the welcome breakfast (milk, tea, coffee, juice, jam, butter, white bread, biscuits) is offered to all guests.

The neighborhood

The Quadrilatero Romano is the second pole of Torino's nightlife, all wine bars and bistros, small restaurants with an almost Parisian atmosphere.
The rectangular downtown area delineated by Via Garibaldi and Piazza Emanuele Filiberto is, in fact, the meeting place of young and not so young of the city.
It is an almost completely pedestrian area and it's perfect for an "aperitivo", dinner or after-dinner stroll.

The most famous market is "Porta Palazzo", an enormous covered piazza full of stalls selling local and exotic fruits and vegetables, spices, meat, cheese from the nearby valleys, fish, clothing and household items.
Every Saturday and the second Sunday of the month, all this is enhanced by the "Gran Balon", the antiques and flea market wich takes over the streets of Borgo Dora.

Getting around

Winter or summer, the people of Turin can't do without a stroll throught the city's green park: Valentino (421000 square metres) along the river.
This immense green area is perect for all kinds of open-air activities : bicycling (it has a bikesharing), jogging, rollerblading, rowing.
