East Village Escape!

Jaime's place is a very nice spot in the East Village. It's very central to the lower east side and walking distance to a lot of things downtown. I was very comfortable with the place. I had good sleep on the couch. Bathroom was great. Had good privacy. And I even had fun times hanging out with their cat, Amé. They have a great back yard too. Felt great relaxing there. Really great experience all around. Jamie is a really great host. He gave me terrific suggestions and was very hospitable. Would love to stay there again.

Really cool hosts and great apartment! W. was away on business during my stay, but J. was really accommodating when it came to pretty much everything (early check in, letting me store my bags for a late flight out) Really enjoyed my stay here... I'm pretty sure everyone would say the same

We were so pleased to stay at J&W's appartment. The room was small but very cozy. We have not seen Willow, but Jamie was very hospitable, gave us some useful recommendations. The apartments are ideally located to anywhere in Manhattan. It is easily accessible either by walk or by subway. Highly recommended. Olga&Oleg.

I had a great stay at Jamie's apartment. Willow was away for work so did not meet her. Jamie was helpful with local suggestions and very friendly. The apartment is very cosy and good for a solo business/pleasure traveler needing an East Village base. If you want ultra privacy this isn't for you. The place was clean, you have your own bathroom and use of the kitchen if required. I would stay here again when in NY for a few days.

East Village Escape! lived up to the description in the listing. It was clean and quiet, and I was able to come and go on my own schedule.

Willow and Jamie had such a great place and where lovely hosts. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting New York.

We stayed in NYC from December 25th to January 1st and Willow and Jamie were great hosts. They have a small but cozy apartment well located in the East Village. We had a very clean bathroom that we only had to share with their cat. We slept on a very large and comfortable sofa bed, which we could separate from the kitchen with a curtain. The neighborhood is quiet and we were never woken up by the noise of a car or a siren. Jamie and Willow were always as quiet as possible when we were sleeping or relaxing. They were always helpful and they gave us some precious advice (restaurants, sightseeing and all the small things that one may need). “Feel free to” was one of the sentences we heard most. All in all they perfectly contributed to an unforgettable journey in the city that never sleeps.

This was the perfect place for my 2 night visit to NYC. Willow and Jamie are very kind, respectful people and their apartment is chicly decorated and spotless. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable and it was very quiet. Having your own bathroom was an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying here.

Willow and Jamie's place is beautiful, and was just perfect for my needs for a two day trip. They were able to be very flexible for my check in and check out times, which is was fantastic. And the bathroom is so fabulous, as is their beautiful cat! I had a great time and was so happy I made this choice.

First trip to New York was even better than expected, thanks largely to Willow and Jamie. Both are amazing hosts – very welcoming and helpful. Their place looks great, and the set-up is perfect. (Two levels; separate bathrooms, entrances, etc.) Basically like having your own apartment in the East Village – for a fraction of what you’d pay for a hotel room.

I should first clarify that I rented the entire apartment while Willow and Jamie were on vacation, so I cannot speak to the experience of staying in the apartment with them. The apartment was nice, clean, and as advertised. The cat was very friendly, but I think she was a little out of sorts because of the owners being on vacation and hacked up some stuff a few times. There was also a bit of a smell from the cat/litter box, but 1) I do not own a cat and may be more sensitive to it than others and 2) I was not the first renter after Willow and Jamie left, so it may have been because the previous renters did not clean out the litter box as rigorously as needed. The above paragraph may make it sound like I did not have a good experience, but that is definitely not the case. The apartment is in a great location and Willow and Jamie answered all of my questions and concerns promptly even though they were on vacation at the time. I can only imagine the level of service they would have provided if they were staying with me in the same apartment. Definitely stay with them if you get the chance.

We just harrived from 10 days at Willow and Jamie´s place. the apartment was great, the location, the confort, the kitchen, the shower, the deck and the bed it make you feel like home. you should know that you have to be a pet lover if you want to stay there cause you have to take care of some fish and a really friendly cat who is no trouble. the neighbourhood is perfect, tons of places to eat and open late, sometimes 24 hours. what is great because, belive it or not, new york does sleep, and does it early... only a few blocks from the nearest subway makes a perfect excuse to stop for something in the way everitime you pass by one of the many coffe places and delis. WE GIVE WILLOW AND JAMIE´S PLACE A 5 STAR REVIEW BECAUSE IT ACHIEVE THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE VISIT, MAKE US FEEL LIKE HOME THANK YOU AND HOPE SOMETIME VISIT YOU AGAIN!!! Willow and Jamie are two of the best people in the world! They're both funny, smart, and worldly, not to mention FUN!! If you stay with them not only will you get to stay in a cozy, clean place, you'll get great insider tips on the best places to eat, drink and wander in the city too.

Jamie and Willow are excellent people, a lot of fun and run a great house. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness and the chance to meet two great people in NYC, stay here! The dogs are wonderful and friendly. I've stayed with Jamie and Willow the last few times I've been in NYC and it's always a great experience.
