The Point in Santa Cruz Ocean View

Tom & Denise made our stay quite enjoyable. We were gone alot of the time during our stay as were our hosts, but we crossed paths many times. They are so warm and friendly, we were immediatly put at ease and felt comfortable. The room is very nice and it was great having a bathroom just for our use. Denise also was very helpful with suggestions of local things to do and see. I would have no problem recommending their place. The location is great, less than a block from the ocean and surfers to watch at all times of the day.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at The Point. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the beautiful backyard as well as the rooftop patio. Tom and Denise were very friendly and gracious hosts but not intrusive. I was a bit worried about how it would work out sharing the house, but my fears were unfounded and it worked out great. And of course we got to enjoy Denise's wonderful blueberry muffins for breakfast - they were to die for! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Santa Cruz.

The house was full of amenities that unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of! There was a hot tub (which we did use for a few minutes), a hammock, the beach only steps away, bikes, and surfboards. Denise and Tom were very nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was strong (always important.) A great quiet and relaxing place to stay for the weekend.

The location is perfect half a block from the cliffs. Denise and Tom share their home, yard, and deck, and are out most of the time so it feels private. They are friendly hosts who start the day with delicious home-made muffins and coffee.

Denise and Tom's home is lovely! They're so close to the beach and downtown Santa Cruz. Next time we're in Santa Cruz we know where we're staying :)

Denise and Tom were wonderful hosts. I only wished we could have stayed longer. Their place is super close to Pleasure Point and the Hook surf spots. They also offered great restaurant recommendations.

I stayed four nights and it was a great experience. Surfing at one of the best surf spot near by, having a hot tub in the beautiful garden, and enjoying a friendly chat with Denise and Tom. It was the highlight of my travel and hope to come back again !

Denise and Tom are lovely people...they made us feel at home. Their home is calm, and cozy! We would love to come back., maybe without the baby.

Great people! They are quite lovely- even though we were so busy we hardly saw them--they were going to invite us to brunch. Very nice place! Close to the ocean! Close to shops! Very nice bed to sleep on.

Had a wonderful but short stay with a very bubbly Denise and Tom. Enjoyed conversing with them and they were generous with ideas for things to do and the like...;)

We just had the most wonderful time at Denise & Tom's place! The moment we set foot into their place we felt relaxed, welcomed and enjoyed every moment. Our communication with Denise was very friendly and uncomplicated. She was very accommodating and when we arrived right before sunset we couldn't believe how beautiful the house and the neighborhood was. Literally steps away from the coast! In the house, amongst other things two delicious little muffins waited for us. Their beautiful garden was magical, our BBQ on the roof-top terrace with ocean view was probably one of our highlights. Then, the next morning, we only had to push a button and... coffee was ready :)! Thank you very much, Denise & Tom. We can't wait to come back!!!

Location is top notch. Hard to come by a better home base to access Capitola's legendary points. The property is enchanting and hot tub wonderful. Tom and Denise are nice hosts and made it very easy for us move right in and get comfortable. One last thought, the King sized bed is highly comfy!

The photos of the place were not very representative in the webpage.. the house was really really nice! The location was also very good, nearby the sea and close to food store. Quiet area. Just great!

Denise and Tom are fun, generous and interesting people. Expect amazing stories, lots of laughs and usually delicious food when in their company.
