  • Kendra

    About Kendra
Ali says, “I have known Kendra for over 5 years. I first met her when I volunteered for a non-profit organization for which she worked and we became fast friends. Kendra is incredibly warm, open, energetic and enthusiastic individual. She loves bringing people together, making new friends and introducing them to old ones by planning big dinners parties and get-togethers. I had the privilege to stay in Kendra's home in Lima, Peru while traveling this past December. Kendra was the consummate hostess. She toured me around the city, took me out to the best restaurants and bars and integrated me into her fun-loving group of friends. Her place was beautifully and creatively decorated and very neat and tidy. Her new place in Philly is in a great part of the city with tons of fun restaurants and bars with great happy hours (I lived in the Fairmount/art museum area for a year). I would highly recommend Kendra to other Airbnb members. ”

  • Ryan

    About Ryan
Alison says, “Ryan and I initially met through school and have since been good friends for over eight years. Now that I have moved away, any time I travel back I always look forward to staying at Ryan's. Ryan is a fantastic host, his place is always well-kept, and I can always count on him should I need any weary traveler-related help. Anytime I visit it's a great visit, Ryan is knowledgeable of the best areas to hang out and he is great to talk to. I recommend Ryan as an A+ host and I feel very lucky to have him as a friend. ”

  • Julia

    About Julia
Friederike says, “I first met Julia in Europe, while she was having her artist residency in Holland in 2011. Julia has an open-minded, cheerful and laid-back personality and we became friends soon! Due to my studies I am traveling through the US now for a couple of month and and Julia helped me in so many possible ways to settle - like finding places to stay or connecting me to people. Also, I visited Julia in Philadelphia for a weekend, where she made me feel welcome from the very first moment. Her apartment is a bright, neat and very lovingly decorated place, good to chill, work or just spend time, alone or together. Phialdelphia I remember as a great place to visit, beside the impressing sights e. g. in Independent NHP there are a lot of innovative art spaces, cozy bars and restaurants to explore. I myself consider Philly as a "chilled Version of New York" and I am sure Julia does her best to make all of her guests feel as comfortable as possible in her cozy and unique, artistic home!”
