About Raquel
Denmark says,
“Raquel is a sweetheart. A real down-to-earth individual. Her heightened level of awareness makes for amazingly insightful conversations. I highly recommend her for the AirBnB community! May her travels always be fun!!!”
About Dave
Frances says,
“I love Maui, love Paia, love Mangolani, and love Dave! I've stayed at Mangolani twice now, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Maui. Dave was a great host and has since become a great friend. He introduced us to some other really cool locals and gave awesome recommendations for things to do on our trip. Mangolani is beautiful and clean, and it gets extra points for the hot tub and tree house. Paia is the CUTEST town with a true local feel, and I've met some really wonderful people there. On my first night, I picked up food from the local market and made dinner in the Mangolani kitchen with another guest, and I ended up exploring the island with her the rest of my trip. Met a bunch of locals at the bar down the street who threw me a spontaneous birthday party at one of their homes. If you want the local experience over the tourist/resort experience, I highly recommend staying at Mangolani. And if you're lucky enough to catch Dave when he's home and not surfing around the world, you will have a great resource for your trip!”
About Audrey
Lori says,
“I rented Audrey’s guest room for 5 months and am now very close to the family. The previous review stating that her home was a “health hazard” was both malicious and libelous. Audrey’s home is clean, airy, and inviting. Audrey and her daughter are warm, friendly, and fun to be around. The spiders mentioned in that review are found in the sugarcane field behind Audrey's house which makes for the wonderful panoramic backyard view seen in the photo with Audrey’s cat. The spiders can be quite large, but are also quite harmless. The “lizards” mentioned in the review are GECKOS and can be found in most homes and even many of the resort hotels here. They are part of island life. Neither the cane spiders nor the geckos are signs of filth or unclean living conditions.
I highly recommend Audrey’s home to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, CLEAN place to stay on the North Shore. Check out the other five positive reviews from people who actually stayed in Audrey's home. ”
