June 2025The apartment was furnished as advertised and the location was great but the Internet speed was not. Accessing the unit was easy, and the washer/dryer was a great addition. The bed was comfortable too. I would have given this rental 5 stars if I had a thermostat for the backup heater, had outside lighting that worked at arrival, and if the outside was better for dogs. I bought a 2x4 to support the fence from collapsing as the unruly, neighbor dog nearly caused it to collapse. Thankfully, I did have an existing radiator for heat. A previous review mentions the circuit breaker being an issue-it still was with me.

May 2025“Quiet” isn’t a word I’d use to describe this unit. Between the noise of the highschool starting around 7am(parking lot mere feet away), the dog on the property behind this unit that barks at any noise, and the water hammer when either unit uses hot water, “quiet” is quite misleading.
The advertised interest speed of 41mbps is just wrong. At best it was 3.25mbps. Buffering every 1-2 minutes while streaming. Roger said he reset the router but there was no change if he had. I ended up paying $30 for a T-Mobile hotspot so I could actually get some work done.
Of the 4 outlets in the main room, only 1 worked. Roger said he’d check the fuse box to see if one was tripped; either he never checked or there is something wrong with the electrical system. Again I had to spend more money to make the place livable and purchased extension cords for the lamp and being able to charge.
There are smaller issues, like the bathroom sink leaking so Roger just had a metal bowl under it…(out of space)

April 2025This is a very cozy place to stay at. The location is very close to many places in Eureka, such as Old Town and Costco. I love that it was pet friendly and my cat was very happy here. I will point out that the heater did not work the best and there was always a lot of ants around. Otherwise, it was peaceful when the high school kids with loud cars were not in school. Additionally, the host is friendly and helpful to any needs you may have.
