…Sunflower was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. The cabin is beautifully appointed. Soothing music was playing when we arrived, so we felt instant peace. The setting is gorgeous, true to the description. Kathryn was a gracious host who came by to make sure the fountain was flowing and the hot tub was freshly cleaned and hot. After I got back I realized I had forgotten it's a no-shoes home, and we had all taken our shoes off inside rather than outside. She never said a critical word about it. My apologies, Kathryn! There was a plumbing issue which she did everything she could to resolve, and we still had a lovely time. The town is adorable. We had an excellent meal at Chateau Morrissette. I rated Sunflower4 stars because, for me, it was farther out from town than I prefer. The benefit to that is the privacy and the wooded setting! Note: She clearly explains in the description that the stairs to the bedrooms are not for children, and I agree. Overall, an excellent stay. Thank you!…

…We had a great time! The place itself is lovely-- an octagonal house in the middle of the woods, with a stream down the hill. We cooked over the firepit and ate under the stars. We waded in the stream and harvested wild ramps to season our dinner. Kathryn was very responsive to messages and questions, though the guidebook she'd made for the house was very comprehensive.

We would definitely stay here again!…

…I really enjoyed the peaceful environment! It was so quiet and frequently I would spot a red bellied woodpecker ( female ) on the tree closest to the entrance. OVERALL 10/10 !…
