…Decent stay, but not worth the price. This wasn’t what we expected for the cost—over $1,200 for a weekend getaway, and we live only two hours away, so we were hoping for something a bit more special. The best part of the property was the porch—it was peaceful and enjoyable.

However, the house itself is older and outdated. We specifically chose this listing for the hot tub to help my dad with sore muscles, but it was a major letdown. The instructions said not to touch the temperature, which turned out to be a red flag—it was 80 degrees, so it felt lukewarm at best and on a cold night. Hot tubs are about 100-103 degrees and we weren't allowed to adjust. Definitely not the relaxing experience we were hoping for.

Other things to note: none of the screen doors open or close properly. The bathroom water doesn't get hot, and if you’re sleeping downstairs, be aware—the water heater makes loud rattling noises for several hours in the middle of the night.
