beautiful place

Cute little getaway on the Guadalupe River. I was hoping to be able to swim in the river but there was lots of debris floating in the water—mostly runoff and rainwater debris. Still very nice location with a lovely view. The AC in the home never felt cool enough but it’s understandable as it appears to be an older home. Back door was tricky to shut & lock securely. Apart from that, the experience was nice and we would recommend the Bass House on Wunderlich 😊

Stadt Platz is in a wonderfully convenient location whether you want to shop, dine, or go tubing in NB. The old farm house is charming, charmingly appointed, and charmingly creaky. I could only dream of being in such good shape at the age of this century+ house. All the floors slope in different directions and no one will sneak up on you. You can enjoy shaded porches, an outside shower, and deer cruising the neighborhood. Be ware the (charming) claw foot tub, however; anyone shaky on their pins or shorter of stature might have a hard time with it.
