I loved this apartment and the location. host's communication could have been better, but luckily we figured things out. it took a lot of effort to get the checkin instructions, including support from Airbnb and finding a phone number through the internet / outside of the Airbnb listing. once we got a hold of the host and into the apartment, we never heard from the host again despite a few messages. the check out experience left me with some unanswered questions as well, especially because there are no check out instructions.

if you are looking for a great apartment, this is it - but I wouldn't personally book this again based on the checkin experience, which was quite nervewrecking.

The location is excellent, with many places within walking distance, including Times Square. You’ll rarely need a cab, unless going to Soho etc which is still walkable in my opinion. Arik is a wonderful host very communicative and quick to resolve any issues that come up.

The stay was fabulous! Clean and large apartment for a long term stay. Arik was fabulous to connect with and took great care and was very responsive and helpful for everything. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it - also a great location close to everything!

We had to move out. The place was in total disrepair and filthy. Needs a major clean up.
Repairs had exposed sharp edges. Parquet floor has dangerous splinters in frequent walking area. The pictures did not represent the actual place. Rust, floors rotted out. Possible mold. Showed two beds but only one. Couch was badly stained and only two cushions instead of three.
There are 10 lock boxes on the fencing.
The bathroom was the worst. Toilet had permanent brown stains on bottom. Shower head fell on my wife’s head while showering cause it was loose. Numerous broken tiles. Tile repairs had exposed sharp edges. Floor was rotted and plaster patches roughly applied. Insulation around pipes in shower were poorly applied. That bathroom needs a total refurbishing.
I will say it has a great location, and the host, Reuven was nice. I. Did not appreciate waiting for deliveries for two days or being told I would need to go to Target to pick up sheets and towels.
