Loved staying at Denise's! it was great!

The lodgings were great! We were extremely pleased with the setup. Bonus points for the ziplock bags we needed to pack our lunch and having power strips on both sides of bed! If I have to nitpick, it would be the height of the bathroom sink. I’m 5’0” and the top was at my chest. It was very difficult to wash my face and brush my teeth. Even my 5’10” husband felt it was awkward. There is a stool but it is very short and didn’t help much. We would stay there again regardless.

This was a last minute booking for a solo trip to Acadia National Park. The location is a 30 minute walk from downtown. During my stay, I was able to catch the Downeast Transit to Bar Harbor and also to Bangor. This was convenient but required planning. If you have a car, park at the Acadia Gateway Center for free parking and island express transit.
The unit was comfortable and clean. It is off the main road so I ran the ac fan at night to drown out road noise which did the job. The market across the street was perfect to pick up groceries. Overall, great affordable stay between Bangor and Bar Harbor.

Wonderful stay! The place was spotless, more spacious than the photos, and had everything we needed. Great location—an easy drive to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and downtown Ellsworth. The farm is beautiful, with a dog trail my pup loved. Denise was super responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely book again, or any place that Denise hosts!
