This little cabin was perfect for a weekend escape! The area was quiet even with the restaurant within walking distance (the food was phenomenal). What a great place to unplug and relax!

We scheduled our trip at the last possible minute. we decided Thursday that we where going somewhere Friday so I booked the cabin and messaged Denise to make sure it wasn't too short notice for her, she accommodated us with no problems. we planned for traffic so I scheduled check in for 6-8, she had the place ready to go when we got their at 5:30. check in was super simple, and then we went down to the restaurant which is the most down to earth restaurant I've ever been to. all of the staff are phenomenal, and the food was delicious. there are horse and goat paddocks next to the restaurant and they let the goats out to graze a little bit sometimes. they have an outstanding way of making it all feel like home but still providing the best service

Happy repeat customer. Works great for me as a base for a long weekend dog trial. Friendly, clean, with a good BBQ place on the property. Other dining options include a couple of decent restaurants in Skowhegan. Denise is a super responsive host. For a longer stay I'd prefer to have a sink. No WiFi but my cell signal was surprisingly good for rural Maine.
