“I spent only one night at Coco's Garden Guesthouse and it was more than enough for me to realize that I've found an oasis in the in-your-face city of Manila. The room on offer is huge: probably six times the size of a standard hotel room. The entire house is full of antique Philippine wood furniture and textiles, and once you step in you feel as if you're in a chapter from the past. It has all the modern amenities, mind you: fast free wifi, hot shower, etc. As a guest, I was able to use the big kitchen and relax at the garden and the patio just outside my room.
The owners, Greg and Jorge, were the ideal hosts: inobstrusive and laid-back. Greg is a long-time resident of the country and can offer invaluable information about what to do and where to go in Manila and in the Philippines. He's also a walking tour guide who will take you to the historical places of Manila and tell you juicy details about history. Jorge is a great cook and I had the opportunity to taste his wonderful cooking.
If you're looking for a place that is separated from the grime and noise of the city, but still near enough to all the places of interest, then stay here. You will not regret it.”

“I stayed in Cristiano's flat in Lugano. The place was great - furnished with style.
It is very close to the lake and the best way to go around is to ride a bike and enjoy the beauty of the city. However train station is 10 minutes away.
There are a grocery shop and a post office next door. You can also access to the gym for your daily excercise and you also have access to a small garden, and private living room, separated from the rest of the house. Free wifi connection is also available. I met Cristiano. He is a wonderful, friendly person and he is very helpful responding to any questions per email very quickly. It is a great place to stay and I can absolutely recommend it!”
