“I have known Sheila for over 8 years and she is a dear friend of mine. I have spent many a happy hour lounging on the terrace on Casa das Figueiras soaking up the rays, enjoying the peace and quiet and taking a dip in the lovely big pool. As she spends a lot of time at the villa herself, and has done over the years with her family, the villa has everything you could wish for and is maintained to a very high standard. It's very comfortable and cosy inside for when you want to curl up with a good book out of the sun. It really feels like a home from home rather than a characterless hotel room, I can personally confirm the sofa is very comfy! The gardens by the pool are very well maintained and the terrace areas are truly wonderful for eating outside in the lovely warm evenings watching the sunset. I love returning here for a spot of R&R and I'm always sad to go home.
