“I would love to recomend Dave to you as a contact person and host in Thailand on Koh Samui. I stayed in a private house, on my own, organised by him in November of 2011. and is happy to accommodate you. As an ex pat on the island he has a wealth of local knowledge and will help in any way he can to make your stay on the island something that will suit your personal preferences and tailor it to your needs in particular. I wanted to see what it would be like to live there for several months a year and found that he was happy to taxi me to one of the superstores on the island and recomend foodstuffs. He was at the end of a mobile telephone in emergencies and being an older woman on my own gave me a great sense of security. He made it as easy as possible to experience all the fantastic things to do on a tropical island like giving me access to his own beach where he and his lovely partner live allowing me to bathe in bath warm seas in some seclusion, except for the friendly Thai neighbours who fed me fresh coconut with a straw. They both kept me supplied with constant cups of tea and were fantastic company even inviting me to attend a birthday party celebrated local Thai style on the beach front with local drink of Sangson as well as extensive bar and buffet of fantastic Thai style foods and chillie and well loved karaoke. As I write this it just makes me long to be back there and it is all thanks to Dave and JAn for all their great attention....thank you so much xx”
