The space
The Vinyl Loft is a truly unique loft with original art and handmade furniture made by Utopia Joe as seen on HGTV & PBS. Located in the heart of the Arts & Entertainment District of historic downtown Guthrie, OK.
Enjoy garden views from your second story window and take a tour down memory lane with a large collection of vintage vinyl records intermingled in the art and installations.
The sweet melodies of an old-fashion record player will guide you and provide for an authentic listening experience while you relax. This space is charming, relaxed, and eclectic with a splash of cheeky artistic humor sprinkled throughout the colorful art.
We live here in the building and if you see anything that needs attention or is missing, please text us promptly to be able to quickly resolve the issue while you are here. We always want to exceed your expectations. Thank you again for staying with us!

This loft is graciously hosted by a small family business of artisans with professional experience in the hospitality industry. Please know that we offer a personal and genuine "Mom & Pop" experience. We will be your neighbors as we live in the Osage 1902 building downstairs. We are just a text away with whatever you need. We are also happy to be your concierge for the beautiful city of Guthrie.
Long term discounts are applied in checkout ~ they are quite significant when you book one week or more.
We offer Trash Pickup for your convenience. Just text us and we will come pick up your trash.
Looking for something to do while you are here? Almost every Saturday evening we are hosting a Tipsy Artist Painting Class from 2-4 p.m. This is a wonderful way to meet your host and learn something new. Painting classes are designed for beginners and they are a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. The cost ranges from $25-45 per person. There is information in your loft guest book or you can book the Tipsy Artist painting class through Experiences on Airbnb or online through Tipsy Artist.
**Please know that during this time, we disinfect all doors and railings leading to the loft. We are also highly rated for being extremely clean and disinfecting thoroughly after each guest.
We have many restaurants, stores, bars, boutiques, art galleries, make & take studios, and entertainment venues that are all within walking distance. Food Delivery is also available for select restaurants. Guthrie is actually the World's Largest Historic District and it is a very walkable downtown that has the famous Pollard Theatre, restaurants, post office, bank, old fashion ice cream shop, smoothie shop, coffee houses, candy stores, chocolate boutique, farmers market, Pollard Gourmet Grocery store, antique shops, candle shops, clothing boutiques, indoor put-put, YMCA gym, tennis courts, frisbee golf, and park with fishing lake all within walking distance.
A very short 5 minute drive will also take you to a water park, outdoor pool, Lazy E, Walmart and many other restaurants and retail outlets.
Your private historic loft space with 1500 square feet has a master bedroom with a new queen size pillow top bed, 2 nightstands, and work desk with chair and very large walk-in closet.
Second bedroom has a full-size bed with memory foam pad and 2 night stands and additional dresser for storage in nearby hall.
One full size bathroom with Shower in located in a very central part of the loft hallway for easy access to all guests during your stay.
Living Room has record player, comfortable vintage sofa, one comfortable leather chair, coffee table and TV & DVD player with a wonderful collection of DVDs.
Vintage Old Fashion 50's Style Dining Table with 4 chairs is located in the living/dining room.
Great for card games or dinner.
Large Kitchen with wooden floors and Basic Cooking Supplies, Refrigerator, Microwave, Stove, Coffee Maker, and Toaster. This loft is the only space that does NOT have a dishwasher. We do have set-up for hand dishwashing with drying rack.

A flat screen TV in the living room with large selection of DVDs for your viewing pleasure is also available.
Oversized iconic paintings, Steampunk Surfboards and handmade furniture all made by Utopia Joe are shown throughout the loft. Joe had his own show on PBS for a while called "The Utopia Joe" show and has also been featured on HGTV for his handmade furniture. We are delighted to be able to share it with you in this beautiful space. It is very much like being able to live in a magical art gallery for your getaway.
Charming Garden Views from your second story loft ~ your view will be filled with white lights and funky eclectic antiques down below. Large Tree and Garden during the Spring, Summer & Fall is quite lovely when it is in full bloom.
Very accessible and wonderful location in historic downtown Guthrie, OK. We are truly in the heart of the World's Largest Historic District here in Guthrie, OK.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire private loft space which is approximately 1250 square feet. In addition, you will also have access to a full size washer and dryer located in our hallway which is shared with other Airbnb guests.

You can walk to a variety of restaurants, farmers market, gourmet grocery, drugstore, bank, post office, coffee shop, candle shop, park, pond, tennis courts, grills, indoor put-put golf, abundance of antique stores, thrift stores, bars, glass blowing, art galleries, nostalgic drive in theatre, grocery store, boutique clothing stores, water park, craft mall, candle store, Sports Museum, Pharmacy Museum, Publishing Museum, World's Smallest Park, Veterinarian, Print & Copy Shop, Tipsy Artist, The Pollard Theatre, Guthrie Nutrition, and many more make and take classes. A short drive away is Lazy E Rodeo Arena and Guthrie Lake.
