The Utopia Joe loft is a truly unique loft with original art and handmade furniture by Utopia Joe as seen on HGTV & PBS. Located in the heart of the Arts & Entertainment District of historic downtown Guthrie, OK. Enjoy glorious views from large windows in a bright & airy loft space with comfortable furnishings and large oversized original art all throughout the space that is made by Utopia Joe.
Great space for Couples, small family gatherings, photo shoots, or Girlfriend Getaway.
**Please note that for larger events or parties we have the Tipsy Artist space downstairs. It is gorgeous while also being very durable and has tables and seating for up 75 people along with music/sound system and mic. Contact our Tipsy Artist office online for details.

This loft is graciously hosted by a small family business of artisans with professional experience in the hospitality industry. Please know that we offer a personal and genuine "Mom & Pop" experience. We will be your neighbors as we live in the Osage 1902 building downstairs. We are just a text away with whatever you need. We are also happy to be your concierge for the beautiful city of Guthrie. We have a Guidebook with all of our favorite places to shop and eat.
Long term discounts are applied in checkout ~ they are quite significant when you book at least one week with us.

Looking for something to do while you are here? Almost every Saturday evening we are hosting a Tipsy Artist Painting Class from 2-4 p.m. This is a wonderful way to meet your host and learn something new. Painting classes are designed for beginners and they are a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. The cost ranges from $25-45 per person. There is information in your loft guest book or you can book the Tipsy Artist painting class through Experiences on Airbnb.
We live here in the building and if you see anything that needs attention or is

**Please know that during this time, we disinfect all doors and railing leading to the loft. We are also highly rated for being extremely clean and disinfecting thoroughly after each guest.
We have many restaurants, stores, bars, boutiques, art galleries, make & take studios, and entertainment venues that are all within walking distance. Food Delivery is also available for select restaurants. Guthrie is actually the World's Largest Historic District and it is a very walkable downtown that has the famous Pollard Theatre, restaurants, post office, bank, old fashion ice cream shop, smoothie shop, coffee houses, candy stores, chocolate boutique, farmers market, Pollard Gourmet Grocery store, antique shops, candle shops, clothing boutiques, YMCA gym, tennis courts, frisbee golf, and park with fishing lake all within walking distance.
A very short 5 minute drive will also take you to a water park, outdoor pool, Lazy E, Walmart, Cash Savers Grocery and many other restaurants and retail outlets.
Your private historic loft space with 1800 square feet has a master bedroom with queen size bed, 2 nightstands, dresser & private bathroom with dual sinks and shower, a second bedroom with a full-size bed, dresser, chair, nightstand & work desk with chair.
Living Room has 2 Vintage Antique Sofas and 1 wingback chairs with coffee table and large screen TV & DVD player with a wonderful collection of DVDs.
Large dining area that is open to the large kitchen. Dining seats 4. Extra folding chairs are also available in the hallway to accommodate a total of 6 around the table.
A large flat screen TV is in the living room with large selection of DVDs for your viewing pleasure is also available.
Large Kitchen open to living and dining has bar seating, Refrigerator, Microwave, 2 Burner Stove Top, Toaster Oven, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Island, dishes, glasses, silverware, utensils and basic cooking supplies.
Full Size Washer & Dryer is located on the same floor in the main hallway.
Trash pickup at your door is always just a text request away.
Best wifi connection is in master bedroom and we have a desk in that space for your convenience.
Live with a large collection of inspiring Original Art by Joe Bohrer. Oversized iconic paintings, Steampunk Surfboards, Figurative Sculpture and handmade furniture are all made by "Utopia Joe". Joe had his own show on PBS called "The Utopia Joe" show and has also been featured on HGTV for his handmade furniture. His impressive resume includes work for Marvel Comics and creative direction for companies like Precious Moments, Mary Engelbreit, Laurel Burch and United Design. We are delighted to be able to share it with you in this beautiful space. It is very much like being able to live in a magical art gallery for your personal getaway.
🌟 A Note About A/C Comfort at Utopia Joe Loft
Utopia Joe Loft features a new, regularly serviced air conditioning unit designed to keep you comfortable year-round. The loft is filled with historic charm, including soaring high ceilings and large vintage windows in the front room—perfect for letting in natural light and the beauty of downtown Guthrie.
Due to these features, cooling performance varies slightly depending on the season.
On typical warm days (up to the low 90s), the unit keeps the space very comfortable—maintaining a consistent 70° in the main living area, often cooler in the bedroom (which is ideal for restful sleep).
During late summer heat waves (upper 90s to 100s), the front room may hover in the mid-70s range despite fans and efficient airflow. We've included ceiling fans and extra box fans to help enhance circulation and guest comfort.

Free street parking right out in front is available. You enter through the front door at street level and then climb one flight of stairs to enter your private entrance to your loft. There is NO elevator. You must climb stairs to enter the loft.
