Moody Ocean Cottage is inspired by the dramatic ocean storms Grand Manan is known for. This beautifully decorated retreat offers calm and relaxation, complete with your own outdoor electric hot tub and stunning oceanfront views.

This cottage features a spacious open-concept kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, and a deluxe bathroom. Pet friendly, family friendly, and equipped with fantastic amenities to make your stay unforgettable.

Welcome to Moody Ocean, a serene oceanfront retreat designed to combine comfort, luxury, and stunning natural beauty.

This spacious two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage features an open-concept kitchen and living area with soaring ceilings and large windows that flood the space with natural light and frame magnificent ocean views. Step out through the balcony door onto your private patio to enjoy the breathtaking seascape. The cottage is equipped with a heat pump for both heating and air conditioning, ensuring your comfort year-round. A pull-out sectional provides a cozy third bed for additional guests, and Moody Ocean is proudly pet-friendly.

Kitchen & Dining:
The fully equipped kitchen is thoughtfully designed with functionality and style. The kitchen island offers ample food prep space, storage, and seating. You'll find high-quality hand-forged knives, custom ceramic mugs by Kay Ceramics, and locally roasted coffee for a true taste of the island. Cooking essentials, such as salt, pepper, oil, and sugar, are provided, along with a premium Green Pan cookware set and stainless steel appliances for a sleek, modern look.

Bedrooms & Bathroom:
The cottage boasts a king bed in one bedroom and a queen in the other, both featuring high-end Simmons mattresses for a restful sleep by the sea. All beds are outfitted with luxurious white cotton linens.

The spa-inspired bathroom includes a lavish shower panel, an LED mirror, soft white cotton towels, a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and hand made soaps, offering you a touch of indulgence.

Indoor Amenities:
- A washer/dryer unit for guest use.
- A living room with a wall-mounted 50” LED 4k Smart TV.

For families with children, we provide playpens with added mini crib mattresses, collapsible tubs, and booster seats at no extra charge.

Outdoor Amenities:
- A private deck with comfortable patio furniture, including a dining-height couch set.
- A luxurious electric hot tub on your private deck, ideal for relaxing under the stars after a day of exploring.
- A BBQ with a side burner, perfect for preparing fresh lobsters, along with BBQ utensils.
- Fire pits and picnic tables located around the property and directly on the beach for your enjoyment.

Guests are welcome to explore the entire property! Enjoy picking blueberries in the back, wandering through the lovely wooded area, and discovering treasures like beach glass on the beautiful beach in front of the cottages.

The property extends from the little beach beside the wharf to the white buoy visible from the cottages on the left-hand side toward the water. Please note, the property does not include the wharf beside our beach.

While you're free to explore, we kindly ask that you respect the privacy of other guests and their cottages.

If you're traveling with pets, please ensure they are leashed at all times when outside for the safety and comfort of everyone.

Located on Kite View Lane, however our lane is so new it has not yet been added to the map! The lane entrance is at 129 Ingalls Head Rd, stay left to get down to the property.

We are centrally located on Grand Manan, off of Ingalls Head Rd. About 15 minutes south from the ferry.

I moved to Grand Manan Island in 2019 and quickly fell in love with it's coastlines, hiking trails and lighthouses. I wanted to share what this wonderful island has to offer with others. I built four ocean-front cottages in Summer '22 to do just that!
