Situated in a peaceful riverside location on the outskirts of the historic North Cornish town of Stratton and just a few minutes from Bude’s famous surfing beaches.

The Toad Hall sleeps four with one double bed and two single beds. Your own bathroom and kitchen, an acre of outside space and TV & WI-FI.
A secure fenced area around the pod provides a safe patio/garden area for toddlers and dogs.

The space
Our space provides all you need for a fabulous break. The open plan pod areas and the stunning wooden interior provides both a relaxing and cosy accommodation. You have all you need for sleeping, kitchen area for self catering and both space for indoor or outdoor dining. The shower room consists of a shower with easy access, toilet and basin.

Guest access
The Pod and the acre of paddock are for your use only during your stay.

Other things to note
Car parking during the summer or dry weather can be either by the pod or if the weather has been wet then there is a parking area directly by Bill’s home.

Neighborhood highlights

Stratton is a pretty historic market town and has two excellent pubs and a local shop/post office. The River Strat flows through Stratton and the boundary of the paddock. There are no deep water areas and therefore provides a perfect place for children to play. Our guests are able to enjoy complete peace and privacy in the paddock.
On the road from Stratton to Bude, less than a mile from the Pod, there are 3 supermarkets. Bude itself sits on the stunning North Cornwall coastline, has its own Breakwater, beautiful coastal walks, the famous Bude Canal walks, the famous Bude seapool on Summerleaze beach and RNLI lifeguarded beaches.
