Other things to note
Extras to Know:

WiFi & TV: We’ve installed the best WiFi available in the area. It’s shared with the neighboring cabin and works well for streaming on the 32" HD Smart TV (no cable or satellite). Just keep in mind it’s not city-speed internet—some devices may need to be paused so others can connect. Please be respectful and share the bandwidth.

Winter Access: We’ve got a newly configured snowmobile spur to Trail 7—just 1/3 mile south. It crosses private land, so please stay on the marked trail to help us keep it open for everyone.

SxS Riders Welcome: You’ll have access to endless forest roads and trails right from the cabin. Ride responsibly and help us keep the forest beautiful for all.

Do NOT drive SxS or snowmobiles on the grass or between cabins. Stay on driveway and plowed areas to preserve our utility lines.

My work: Account
Welcome to the Hiawatha National Forest. We are located on Highway 13 @ Midway, about 20 mins south of Munising/Lake Superior and another 30 mins south to Lake Michigan! My husband and I are happy to host five retro rustic cabins. It's a labor of love getting these cabins back into shape to host renters, so they can have a clean and affordable home base to enjoy their time in the U.P. with their families and friends.
