The space
This beautiful four-bedroom, three-bath home in Mt. Vista might catch your eye. It's available for a 30+ day stay and is fully furnished, tastefully decorated, and has an open layout with a modern kitchen. The leather reclining sofas are perfect for relaxing while watching a great show or gazing at the lush, protected green space and tall trees. The green space offers a peaceful vibe with sightings of deer and many bird species, ideal for that serene environment your're after.
There is a king-sized bed in an oversized bedroom which is decorated with authentic Navajo hand-woven rugs. The other two bedrooms are furnished with antique wood furniture and desks, the fourth bedroom is a dedicated work space with two desks and a filing cabinet. This work space may be converted into bedroom with a queen bed. Just inform us of your wishes ahead of time and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. Please note that this home has been furnished with new leather reclining sofas, antiques, pricier decorations, a piano circ. 1890-1895, and has hardwood floors that scratch. Animals are not allowed at this property. The home is adorned with antiques and Asian decorations. This property is not child-proof and no pets are allowed. The floors are a softer wood flooring. Claws would destroy the flooring.
Meals may be enjoyed under the covered back patio where one may be mesmerized by the mature pine and deciduous trees, listen to the birds and if one is lucky, catch a glimpse of the deer or a coyote. Adirondacks encircle a fire pit for nighttime relaxation. Please be aware of local burn bans usually in place during the summer.
Guest access
Gain easy access with keyless entry. A code is provided two days prior to arrival.
There is one step into the front door. One bedroom and bathroom with a step in shower is located on the main level. The other bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry room is located on the upper level.
Other things to note
We are an extended stay business. In the state of Washington, occupants are granted tenancy rights with stays over 28 days and the homeowner's association requires a lease agreement so a lease agreement is required. A clause will be included that the lease may be terminated with a 20-day notice provided that the 30-day requirement will be met.
Upon booking, the front and back of a government issued ID is required for all adults prior to check-in.
By booking this property, you and your guests agree to all of the house rules.
Animals are not allowed. There is a $1,000 fee and the booking will be cancelled for guests who bring animals. We live in this property greater than 50% of the year and unfortunately, animals cause us health issues.
All utilities are paid. Electricity is capped at $125 per month and water is capped at $125 per month.
There is no smoking or vaping of any kind, this includes marijuana, inside the home or in the garage. No illegal substances, no glitter. Indoor smoking earns a minimum fee of $2000 for additional cleaning, carpet cleaning, vent cleaning, Kilz, painting, and any other damage that may have incurred.
An additional note..."Relax at Mt. Vista" is thoroughly cleaned. I clean remotes, door, dresser, and closet handles, and light switches, among many other things. Blankets, comforters, duvet covers, and pillow shams are cleaned after use by each guest. As your host, I do my best to provide a clean, relaxing environment for guests to feel comfortable.
