Idyllic summer cottage on the shore of Keurusselkä, close to the cultural treasures of Keuru and Mänttä. Nearby, there are amazing natural attractions, such as Kotiniemi nature trail and sandy roads for outdoor activities. The bright plot is located in a rural landscape near fields and a natural forest. You have access to a beach sauna, home kitchen, gas grill, rowboat, fishing license and dock. The cottage has a diverse selection of games for the whole family.

The space
Cosy and idyllic lakeside cottage surrounded with beautiful countryside views by fields and forest. East facing frontage, yard faces to south. The area includes a separate summer house, storage with outdoor (eco)toilets, fire pit, gas grill and pier. Cottage neighbours at the both side - please notice them! The beach has sand bottom and it is easy for swimming, rowing or fishing. Lake edge only 15 m away. Plenty of geocaches in the neighbouring area.

Distances: Helsinki 250 km, Tampere 96 km, Jyväskylä 76 km, Keuruu 23 km, Mänttä 13 km.

Activities in the art town Mänttä (12 km):
Club house, Shopping&Cafe Myllyranta, Pekilo (Center of the annual Mänttä Contemporary Arts Festival), Serlachius Museum Gösta and Gustaf, Mänttä church, Art Center Honkahovi, Wine Cottage Vuorenmaja

Guest access
Explore the surroundings of the cottage! Take a walk to the nearby cape, where you can enjoy the magnificent views. Search for geocaches or visit the village's boat dock. On Midsummer Eve, we burn a bonfire there and eat muurinpohjalaiset with the whole village. In June-August, you are welcome to play or just watch a volleyball game in the courtyard of the clubhouse along the village road on Thursdays at 6 pm.

Other things to note
Real Finnish traditional summer cottage. There is a shower in a sauna and a comfortable and natty composting outdoor toilet near the sauna. In the kitchen only cold water is available. Hot water to wash the dishes can be made by cettle.

Pihlaranta is available from late May to early September.

I live 0,5 km out of the cottage, so do not hesitate to ask help if needed.
