Neighborhood highlights

Being a Special Area of Conservation, a Nature Reserve and dubbed ''Britain's only desert'', Dungeness is quite a unique place. It has a barren beauty and many wonderful sites and sounds to discover. The sunrise over the sea in front of the apartments, setting behind the cottage, the clear bright stars at night take your breath away. Kite surfers cruise along the shoreline, bird watchers and ramblers pass by, the little steam train toots and trundles along the bottom of the road every half an hour, the two light houses prevent you ever getting lost, the architecture is diverse and unusual as you wonder down to the silent and by night quite Art Deco looking power station. The un-crowded shingle beaches are dotted with fisherman, and a walk towards Romney Bay provides miles of sand stretching to Folkstone. There are no arcades or bucket and spade shops in this area just a peaceful tranquil beach for a total getaway.
