The space
Spacious and elegant apartment for someone needing a home away from home. Private entrance, large bedroom with walkin closet, washer & dryer, full kitchen with dishwasher, smart 50 inch Roku tv, Spectrum Cable, power recliner, very fast wifi and semi private veranda. Office work area and dining area. All within walking distance to fine restaurants, shops, boutiques, grocery stores, and theater.

Guest access
The walkway to the suite is well lighted and very secure. Private entrance to come and go at your convenience. Guest has access to a shared veranda just outside their door that overlooks a beautifully manicured landscape.
Please note that the suite is on the 2nd floor and is accessed via an exterior staircase.

Other things to note
Note - There is no smoking on the entire property. The suite is completely updated with new appliances and modern furniture. New AC and furnace. New tankless hot water heater. Stylishly decorated with understated elegance. Relax on the 2nd story veranda overlooking the flowers and trees in the professionally landscaped backyard. This apartment works great for people needing a temporary home while working in Urbana/Springfield area.

Who would of thought that a dance in High School would lead to getting married in Tokyo Japan, 3 reasonably well adjusted children, 10 beautiful grand children and 2 adorable great grand child. The first quarter century of our marriage was consumed with college, kids and careers. The second 25 years has allowed us to travel all over the world and stay in many types of hotels and homes. We have lived most of our life in Oregon and Washington but decided to spend this phase of our life in the quaint midwestern town of Urbana Ohio. We love to host people in our home and we love to tell them about our historic area. We love gardening, decorating and antiques. We are both avid readers and explorers. We have stayed in everything from an unheated apartment in Moldova to a luxury highrise apartment in Hong Kong. We consider ourselves just caretakers for this building we call home. Built in 1840 for Dr. Carter and his wife and 8 children. It has been a piano store, antique shop, apartments and many other things.
