Perfect for lovers of stars, birds and pollinators! Located approx 10 miles south of the plaza and canyon road, with amazing moonlit and starlit skies on clear nights, numerous fruit trees, and many flowers in season. This adobe peublo revival home has high viga ceilings, a large kitchen and dining, rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and passive solar design. It is a lovely Santa Fe retreat for families or groups of friends. Enjoy outdoor dining or cozy up to the indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

The space
You will find brightly colored décor, spacious cooking, living and dining accommodations with a sunlit dining room that seats eight. There are two large comfy sofas and an indoor fireplace. There is a television in the living area and one in the primary bedroom. Includes high-speed business-grade wifi, dishwasher, washer and dryer.

This property has an abundance of nature, including numerous colorful songbirds that can be heard each morning. There is also plenty of patio and porch space to spend time observing the natural beauty and dining outdoors. Adjacent to the outdoor dining area there is a beautiful adobe fireplace to cozy up to on cool nights. This home is a traditional earthen adobe Pueblo Revival house with solar panels and a passive solar design that uses the sun's energy for the heating of living spaces and reduces unwanted heat gain during the day. In addition to these features, the home also includes supplemental cooling and heating.

We have two adorable rescue llamas (Dali and Java). You will see them grazing about the property. You are welcome to join us for feeding time during your stay and have a meet and greet with the llamas upon request.

The house TVs have paid for subscriptions for Netflix and YouTube TV (including NFL Sunday Ticket). TVs have Roku devices that allow you to log into your own subscriptions.

Guest access
While the property is over 3 acres, the majority of the land is not directly accessible to the guests as it is occupied by the llamas. Though dogs are welcome, there is no enclosed area for them to run around. You are likely to see and interact with the llamas from the primary bedroom porch and see them from the bedroom window.

We do live on the property to tend to any issues that may arise with the property itself, the llamas or our guests. You may see us coming and going and will probably meet us if you would like to meet the llamas and help us feed them during your stay.

Guests have access to the upper courtyard including the outdoor spaces described in the listing (patios, porches, outdoor fireplace, grill etc) but do not have access to the lower courtyard or the north wing of the house. These spaces are not part of the rental and not included in the rental square footage (which is approx 3k gross sqft). There is also a locked pantry off the kitchen (near the refrigerator) that is not accessible to the guests. Please feel free to message us with any questions. Thank you!
