The space
Our Dwtty hut (Meaning ‘LITTLE hut’) is a luxurious, open plan Shepherds hut with modern amenities, shower, oven and hob, smart tv, wifi and fire pit.
The bed is a small double bed.
We are a couples retreat, catered for two people only, WE DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN!
The hut itself is private and totally fenced off from the rest of the farm, although there is a small farm track around 40ft to the side of it leading up to a neighbouring farm so there may be the odd car/tractor or person passing from time to time.

Our own home is also 60ft away but completely hidden and we cannot see or hear guests.
As the luxury hot tub is electric this means there’s no having to try try to regulate the temperature or scalding yourself as with wood fired tubs.
You can just hop in and out, relax and enjoy at your leisure day or night!
(small added surcharge for short stays due to cleaning/running costs, please ask for cost prior to booking).
The tub also sports colourful mood lighting and Bluetooth speakers.
We supply unlimited wood/kindling/firelighters for £10.
We DO NOT provide BBQ facilities due to a limit on our changeover time but you’re welcome to bring your own. There’s a slab by the fire pit for you to use a disposable bbq on.
The immediate garden area is fenced off with post/rail AND mesh making it totally secure for most dogs, although you also have 6 acres of fields and an orchard solely for your use to walk your dog/dogs, or if you just fancy a wander!
(Accessible fields are a minute walk from the hut and grass may sometimes be a little long as we have a small holding and can only mow when the weather permits).
In addition to this, around 1/3 mile from the Dwtty hut and set in its own completely private fields we have a rustic 5 🌟 rated, air b&b with a large Kadai BBQ/fire pit.
Why not bring friends along so you get to enjoy both spaces while having your own seperate accommodation!

6 acres of livestock free land and orchard to roam/walk dogs off lead (a minutes walk from the hut).
Immediate garden area fully fenced off for most dogs with post/rail AND mesh.

Other things to note
The hot tub surcharge is minimal compared to other air b&b’s (please enquire before booking).
Unfortunately it’s something we have to add as although it’s much more convenient and luxurious than a wood fired tub it also comes with a less convenient electric bill every month plus cleaning costs between each guests 🙈
If we include it with the air BnB nightly cost it makes the booking fees higher for our guests. 😔
Please also review us on the cost of your stay based on the amount we actually receive. 15% of what you pay is air BnB’s added fees and not the amount we earn sadly.
We love dogs and understand that they are a part of the family but please bear in mind that our hut is small and that they are not left unattended during your stay, unless you are 100% confident they will be ok and not panic in an unfamiliar place, and please ensure you also add them to your booking where stated in the ‘guest’ section.
They will also receive their own welcome pack!
Although you have 6 acres solely for your use please be aware that the grass may be fairly long at some points throughout the year prior to it being baled. (Never longer than knee height).
Unfortunately we cannot get food deliveries to the hut (uber etc) but there is a long list of places to eat, drink and take away in the welcome pack and also at the end of the photos section on here.
Please note that the kitchen has a gas oven and hob, grill, kettle and toaster but we unfortunately don’t have the space for a microwave or air fryer.
Also our fridge/freezer is under counter so limited on space if you wish to bring more food than for a couple of nights, there is however a Morrisons daily supermarket within a 12 minute drive and a smaller shop around a 6 minute drive away which does supply most things needed for a short stay.
The oven is a gas oven and top of the range for the type we were able to fit in a shepherds hut but isn’t quite as efficient as a household one, food may take longer to cook and need turning more than you would a fan circulated electric oven.
We provide and decorate the hut with balloons/banners for any given occasion for £15 extra, or add all of the above plus a locally made, personalised cake and prosecco for £50!
If you would like an earlier check in or out time please ask, if we aren’t away ourselves then this can usually be accommodated 😃
If you plan on taking a taxi anywhere we recommend you book in advance as theres only a few small companies and they do get booked up, especially in summer and public holidays.
We are out in the countryside so they are not always readily available as they are in a town/city!
