Dark Sky Villas are a few minutes walk to the town centre yet set in a large property on a quiet street. Lake Tekapo is a safe and peaceful small town.

During the day we recommend walking around the lake and up Mount John for a coffee at the top, followed by a soak in the hot pools at Tekapo Springs. If you’re staying more than one night, a day trip to Mount Cook is essential where you can hike to see stunning glaciers.

My partner grew up in Lake Tekapo, has travelled the world and always wanted to move back. I'm originally from Wellington and have lived overseas for a number of years.
