A lovely stylish two bedroom delightful modern chalet overlooking the beautiful Widemouth Bay. There is an on-site swimming pool, restaurant bar, tennis court and laundry with a new gym and steam room for 2025..The chalet is in a great location less than a mile and an easy walk to the local beaches of Black Rock and Widemouth with its stunning waves for excellent surfing, sandy beaches and enchanting rock pools. You can continue on the coast path into Bude with its numerous shops and facilities.

The space
The chalet has two double bedrooms with all bed linen provided. The new bathroom has a bath and an electric shower; please note no towels or tea towels are provided. The new kitchen is fully equipped for self catering purposes with an electric fan oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge, toaster, kettle and all pots, pans, plates, utensils and cutlery. The living area has a new smart TV and bedroom 1 has a new smart TV with built in DVD player. There is a lovely private glass patio area to the front of the property. The chalet is double glazed with full gas central heating. The site has a large ample car park which is close to the chalet. Free Wi-Fi is provided. There is a lovely swimming pool, bar and restaurant on site offering affordable food open from Easter to October with fantastic views of Widemouth Bay. There is a pool table in the bar and a games room for the children. The site has a new launderette complete with separate washing machines and driers, paid via tokens from the bar or by using a debit card. A tennis court is also available which is due to be upgraded.

Widemouth and Bude are very family friendly places with miles of lovely walks providing stunning scenery and life guarded sandy surfing and swimming beaches in the summer months.

The location of the chalet benefits from easy access to the South West Coastal Path, perfect for those scenic walks. Other local options that are open all year round are Widemouth Manor, the W Club for a relaxing spa day, and Zuma Jays for all-year surf hire and lessons. If it’s the beach you want, with miles of sand, swimming, and surf then you’ll be spoiled for choice. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities. There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover within a short drive including Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Morwenstow, and stunning Tintagel, inextricably linked to the legend of King Arthur.

Further afield the fishing port of Padstow is a popular tourist destination. Bude itself is a fabulous coastal town that once visited, you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone including great beaches for relaxing and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide, and cafés to watch it all from. The rolling waves which are so close to the chalet are great for surfing all year round and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the South West Coast Path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area, and a heritage centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and an excellent information centre.Bude is perfectly located for you to discover the many natural delights that North Devon has to offer such as Exmoor National Park with its magical night skies in Europe’s first ’Dark Sky Reserve’, the many rugged coastal towns and quaint villages such as Hartland, Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe and the world-famous Clovelly Village with their awe-inspiring scenery and there are plenty of family-oriented places to visit including Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep farm-themed park and many others.
