Beautiful barn style self contained home, set in a rural location in stunning Wiltshire countryside, with far reaching views from every room. tastefully decorated, and well appointed. Please note that the only bathroom is en suite to the main bedroom. So we often say our property is better suited to a couple rather than a family or two families. So, if you are sharing with children or another adult, then do bear this in mind. Many guests of three manage just fine though, especially family.

The space
Please be assured that the whole of the barn is yours for your exclusive use during your stay. Our guests report that the barn is surprisingly roomy, but it is all yours for your stay. We make a small charge of £70 per stay for heating the hot tub. So let us know when you book if you intend using the hot tub so we can request the fee and make sure the hot tub is heated during your stay. If you dont tell us you want to use the hot tub on advance and reqest the fee, then the hot tub will not be warm and powered.
We do operate a strict no smoking policy and no vaping policy on the whole property. The barn is adjacent to our thatched house, so we do not allow smoking vaping or bbq fires at all. Nor do we allow anything designed to burn on or in the property. This includes any kind of candle /oil burner / incense/ joss sticks. If you wish to smoke or vape, you need to be off-site across the road in the entrance to the field opposite. We hope you understand this small important point. With thanks.

The deck, the hot tub, and the area around the hot tub is reserved for your exclusive private use during your stay. do note that the hot tub is in full view of our house. However, our guests report that we are discrete hosts. The barn and hot tub are adjacent to the main house.

The walk up to the barn is pretty level, but there are two steps up to the deck. After that almost all the living accommodation is on one level. The decking where the hot tub is has two steps and is reclaimed wood. so footwear is recommended until you are ready to dip a toe in. The lid of the hot tub is big and heavy and will require two people to lift it. We do make a small charge of £70 per stay towards heating the hot tub. Please do note this. A payment request will be sent after you book your stay.

Other things to note
There are three small steps up from the drive to the deck, and then most of the living space is on one level. Please note that the only shower room/wc is en-suite to the main bedroom, so a third guest would need to keep this in mind.

The barn is about 2 miles from nearest shop / pub. You'll need a car. Whilst we are away from other properties we are not that remote. The barn is close to the main house. We are discrete hosts that respect your privacy.
