About Nora
Joan says,
“Nora is, in a word, fabulous!!! I stay with her all the time when I visit from college and it's like coming home. My roommates and my boyfriend have all stayed with Nora as well and they all love her; she treats them just like family and is considerate of their every need. Would recommend if you like a warm host, a comfy bed, and a cozy place to snuggle and hide away :0)”
About Bangalore Guesthouse
Matthew says,
“An oasis of comfort and tranquility in the heart of Bangalore. That is how I would describe my experience at the Guest House. Whether Western expat or NRI (or other), you will certainly enjoy staying at this lovely place. Situated in Indiranagar, a lovely, leafy neighborhood within easy distance of the city center, there are countless newsstands, restaurants, shops, coffee houses and even a gym within easy walking distance. Also, at the end of the block you can always find a rickshaw should you need to get to the central business district.
Perhaps my favorite feature of the Guest House (though there are so many!), is the lovely second-floor open-air terrace. Here you will always find a bevy of newspapers and magazines or, if you'd prefer, you can hop on your laptop (free wireless included) while enjoying the open-air atmosphere. As I was there in the summer, nearly all meals (breakfast and unlimited coffee/chai is included in the price) were served on the terrace. Each morning, the cook would prepare a delicious and hearty Indian or Western breakfast (your choice), which would easily fuel me until lunchtime at the office. I'm not sure what spice the cook put in the coffee, but it was among the most delicious I've ever experienced.
Last, but certainly not least, the hostess is a pleasure to talk to and certainly contributed greatly to my positive experience. She is easy to talk to and can relate to people from all over, as she was born in the USA but has spent more than a decade living in India and Southeast Asia.
Stay at this Guest House - you'll love it!”
