About Heidi
Amy says,
“Heidi is a good friend and a lovely person. I am fortunate to know her and think the world of her. She is a wonderful hostess and culinary artist. Her house is situated in a charming part of Asheville and is well appointed. She and her home come with my highest recommendation. ”
About Tanya
Lauren says,
“Tanya and Charles have been friends of ours for years. Our children are best pals and our families have spent enormous amounts of time together.
Recently, after moving away from Asheville, we were able to return for a visit. Tanya and Charles very graciously allowed us to stay in their eco-apartment and we are sure glad we did. After long days of kids playing (the park is across the street!) and adults chatting, my husband, children, and I had a cozy, private space to retire to. It couldn't have been a better setup, or a better vacation.
The neighborhood is quiet, but centrally located. It's just a few minutes drive to downtown, the River Arts District, West Asheville, and Biltmore Village. It's the perfect location for all types: those who know Asheville like the back of their hand and those who are exploring Asheville for the first time.
The apartment itself is simple, cozy, and clean. The full kitchen is especially helpful for cooking and saving money on eating out, and the futon that folds out to a bed in the living room is perfect for extra sleeping space. We had an ample amount of space for two adults and two young children. There is a separate entrance to the apartment as well. Tanya and Charles will also help you keep your vacation green - they are very dedicated to their eco-friendly lifestyle.
Whether you're a couple looking for a getaway, a family looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, an eco-traveler, a backpacker, or a person who wants to stay with a family that is the epitome of what it's like to live in beautiful Asheville, Tanya and Charles' place is for you! They are helpful, kind, and genuine, own a sweet restaurant in the River Arts District, and have 2 children I love almost as much as my own.
I highly recommend staying with them at the "Keebler House." You'll love it!”
